Daily DeviationGiven 2008-09-14merry-go-round by *ingvildnilsen. Such a gorgeous, surrealistic take on something we all have memories of- merry-go-rounds. Twisting, the concept into something strange and fascinatingly beautiful. (Suggested by `synconi and Featured by $chix0r) |

A most surrealistic and other-worldly interpretation of something as familiar, at least to me, as a Merry-Go-Round... of life and the endless wonders it brings weaving in and about a neverending cycle. A bizarre, celebratory dance.
I feel some strong inspiration from Dante, though I could be mistaken.
May I ask if a gold tinge was applied to the finish? There something about it that reminds me of the sort of finish that Renaissance painters used
Either way, I'm grateful to my friend `TerrorCookie for showing me this, and to you, for sharing a small glimpse of your world with us

I really appreciate your comment!
Everything, and all the colures are painted from the start to the end....not applied to the finish.
Thanks' .....!

It's almost a crime to have to see this digitally... I wish I could stand in front of this in person
